- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp pickle juice
- 1/2 tsp paprika

Kev Tip
Smash harder than feels normal.
The magic is the crispy beef edge. Use a hot pan, press the beef thin, and let it sear before moving it.

Storage / Meal Prep Notes
These are best fresh, but you can prep the sauce and portion the beef ahead. Cook the tacos right before eating so the beef stays crispy and the tortilla does not get soggy.
Instructions
- 1Mix the burger sauce ingredients in a small bowl and refrigerate while you cook the tacos.
- 2Divide the beef into 6 equal portions. Roll loosely into balls and season with salt and pepper.
- 3Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Lightly spray with oil.
- 4Place one beef ball on the hot pan, top with a tortilla, and smash firmly until the beef spreads thin under the tortilla.
- 5Cook for 2–3 minutes until the beef is browned and crisp around the edges.
- 6Flip, add cheese to the beef side, and cook 1–2 more minutes until the tortilla is lightly crisp and the cheese melts.
- 7Repeat with the remaining tacos.
- 8Top each taco with lettuce, burger sauce, and any optional toppings like pickles, jalapeños, or diced onion.
Diabetes / Weight Loss Notes
Keep the serving structured.
Two tacos with measured sauce and plenty of lettuce gives you the burger experience with better portion control. Pair with a side salad, roasted veggies, or pickles instead of fries if weight loss is the priority.
Best texture move.
Add lettuce and sauce after cooking, not before. Cold crunch + hot crispy beef is what makes these hit.
