Ingredients

Salmon Bites

  • 1 lb salmon filet, skin removed
  • 1–2 tbsp Cajun seasoning, such as Slap Ya Mama
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped, optional
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper

Air-Fried Cajun Asparagus

  • 1 bunch asparagus, ends trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • pinch salt and pepper
  • optional lemon wedges for serving

Kev Tip

Don’t overcook the salmon. Salmon cubes cook fast. Pull them as soon as the centers are just opaque so they stay tender.
Make It Fit Your Macros Lower fat: use 1 tbsp butter instead of 2, or skip the butter and finish with lemon.
Higher carb / athlete plate: serve over quinoa, rice, or sweet potatoes.
Lower carb: keep it with asparagus, greens, or cauliflower rice.
Meal Prep Notes Cook salmon and asparagus separately. Reheat gently to prevent the salmon from drying out.

  1. 1Remove salmon skin and slice into 1-inch strips, then cut into 1-inch cubes.
